As a rapidly growing global manufacturer, Greenworks is seeking a Financial Analyst to contribute to its brand's growth. The Financial Analyst will actively participate in monthly reporting, analysis, ad-hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and projections. Essential duties include month-end journal entries, financial report preparation, budget variance analysis, and sales forecasting. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills to evaluate profit, cost efficiencies and develop financial models. This role involves working with cross-functional teams and contributing to the measurement and calculation of company KPIs.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Experience with financial planning
  • Experience with account reconciliation
  • Experience with report writing
  • Experience with cost analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
Good to have:
  • CPA preferred

Position Summary: 

Greenworks is looking for a Financial Analyst to further grow its Greenworks brand.  This position will have an active role in monthly reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and projections. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Month-end journal entries and reconciliations 
  • Prepare, review and distribute monthly financial reports to senior management and cost/profit center managers 
  • Track revenue and expenses vs. budget and analyze fluctuations 
  • Prepare annual financial information to be provided to the external auditors 
  • Prepare quarterly operating reports 
  • Assist in the budget & forecast process 
  • Analyze pricing and margin variances 
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed 
  • Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed 
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts 
  • Working with cross functional team to measure and calculate company KPI’s 

 

Experienced required: 

  • 5 + years of financial analysis. 
  • A proven track record of: 
  • Financial Planning 
  • Account Reconciliation 
  • Budget Variance 
  • Report Writing 
  • Cost Analysis 
  • Accomplished contributor with cross-functional team environments 
  • Superior organizational, planning and time management skills 
  • Proficient with universal software applications including MS Office Suite and Adobe software 

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance/Accounting 
  • CPA preferred

  • Operate office equipment including computers, copiers, and printers.
  • Occasionally exposed to weather elements.
