Game Art Asset Quality Assurance Assistant

Based in the heart of Leamington Spa, Pixel Toys have spent almost a decade pushing the capabilities of mobile gaming. We have developed multiple award-winning titles, including:  Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realm War; and we’re now excited to be exclusively working on a new game, unlike ANYTHING we’ve done previously!

The Role:

Join Pixel Toys as a Game Art Asset Quality Assurance Assistant on a 2month Fixed Term Contract and play a vital role in shaping the visual quality of our next big release. 

Capture and transform in-game footage from various builds into actionable documentation for the team. Scrutinise every asset through hunting down visual inconsistencies, identifying bugs, and flagging anything that doesn’t meet our artistic bar. Through doing so you will be directly influencing how polished, immersive, and visually stunning the final product feels to players around the world.

About you:

You'll join us with a sharp eye for visual detail and a genuine passion for games. You take great pride in precision, adopt a methodical in approach, and yet you're creative in problem-solving with a strong sense of ownership over your work.

You will also be comfortable navigating game builds in order to test and review assets effectively. A keen attention to detail is essential, along with the discipline and self-accountability to double-check your own work and maintain high standards throughout.

Through work or education, you are able to show that you're someone who can stay organised under pressure, communicate clearly with the team, and able turn observations into actionable feedback.

Ultimately you'll be driven, focused, and eager to help elevate the visual quality of a game before it hits the world.
