Job Description

The Brand Manager will develop and execute brand strategies for game titles, drive creative vision for marketing campaigns, and build relationships with stakeholders. They will also foster connections with players across social media and other platforms, respond to community feedback, and lead community initiatives. The Brand Manager will oversee the planning and execution of brand-related projects, manage project timelines and budgets, and coordinate between teams. The role requires a strong understanding of gaming culture, exceptional communication skills, and experience managing complex projects.

Job Overview

We’re seeking a multi-talented Brand Manager who can expertly integrate brand strategy, community engagement, and project management to drive the success of our games and connect with players globally. As a Brand Manager, you will serve as the heartbeat of our game brands, leading efforts to build and maintain strong brand identities while fostering player engagement and overseeing the execution of key initiatives. This role combines strategic thinking, community-driven insights, and project leadership to ensure our games thrive in an ever-evolving market.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies for our game titles, ensuring alignment with company goals and player expectations.
  • Drive the creative vision for marketing campaigns, collaborating with internal teams to produce high-impact promotional assets (e.g., trailers, visuals).
  • Position our games effectively within the competitive landscape by leveraging market research and player data.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including influencers, press, and partners.

Community Engagement

  • Be the voice and face of the brand, fostering meaningful connections with players across social media, forums, and other platforms.
  • Cultivate a passionate and loyal player base by responding to community feedback, addressing concerns, and celebrating achievements.
  • Lead community initiatives such as live streams, events, and social campaigns to enhance player engagement.
  • Monitor player sentiment and use insights to inform brand and game development strategies.

Project Management

  • Oversee the planning and execution of brand-related projects, including game launches, updates, and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure high-quality deliverables on schedule.
  • Act as a central point of coordination between creative, development, and marketing teams, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Anticipate risks and proactively develop solutions to address challenges and keep projects on track.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a similar role, ideally within the gaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of gaming culture, trends, and player behavior.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with a player-first mindset.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, community management tools, and project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Jira).
  • A genuine passion for gaming and the ability to understand and connect with player communities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of game development and publishing processes.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content marketing strategies.

Salary:

Competitive salary range of $65,000 - $72,000 per year
