As an Age Ratings Associate Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of age ratings for a diverse range of gaming content. The job requires 30-50+ hours dedicated per title for comprehensive content capture, analyzing scripts, and compiling submission videos.

The Challenge Ahead

As part of the Global Commercial Operations Age Ratings team, you will play a crucial role in

managing and coordinating the delivery of age ratings for a diverse range of gaming content.

Your work will ensure compliance with multiple ratings boards, supporting the video capture of

materials. This position is integral to maintaining the quality of our products ratings, ensuring

that they meet the standards required for console and PC content globally.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with multiple functional teams within Global

Operations, enhancing your ability to navigate and support operations across different time

zones. You'll conduct thorough gameplay evaluations, to ensure comprehensive content

capture for submissions. Additionally, you'll be responsible for recording, editing, and

compiling submission videos that accurately represent game content, ensuring they meet

standards for completeness and accuracy.

By working closely with colleagues in diverse geographical locations, you'll gain valuable

insights into the global gaming industry, while developing your skills in cross-functional

coordination and international communication.


Responsibilities:

  • Review game content for Age Rating and legal compliance following an established set
  • of ratings boards guidelines
  • Conduct thorough gameplay evaluations, dedicating 30-50+ hours per title to ensure
  • comprehensive content capture for submissions.
  • Meticulously review game scripts, analyzing 60,000+ lines to refine language and
  • context, aligning with age rating standards.
  • Responsible for recording, editing, and compiling submission videos that accurately
  • represent game content, ensuring they meet standards for completeness and accuracy,
  • often using unfinished builds.
  • Participate in the Submission audit and verification of Age Ratings materials
  • Involved in updating changes to JaaS (project tracking) tickets for all upcoming Title
  • Involved in weekly new release status meetings and updating of schedules


Desired Skills:

  • Communicate in a clear and concise manner both written and verbally. Excellent written
  • and spoken English is required for the role.
  • Proven skills of MS Office products and an ability to quickly grasp other project
  • applications such as JaaS and Asana
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and multitask effectively
  • Co-operate, collaborate and work towards a common goal in conjunction with other
  • stakeholders
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach by taking initiative in identifying and solving
  • problems independently.


Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of applicable work experience (i.e. quality assurance).
  • Understanding of a software development lifecycle
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Familiar with game platforms
  • Familiar with video capture programs (e.g. OBS, Hauppauge, etc)
  • Familiar with video editing programs (e.g. Windows Movie Maker, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Nero, etc)
