This role offers a unique opportunity for a videographer/producer passionate about gaming to enter the industry. Responsibilities include shooting high-quality video content for social media (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts), editing using Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve, collaborating on video shoots (storyboarding, shot planning), operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, staying updated on video trends, managing video assets, and brainstorming creative ideas. The ideal candidate is based in the Bay Area, experienced in filmmaking with high-end equipment, proficient in post-production software, knowledgeable in pre-production processes, and an avid gamer.

Must have:

High-quality video shooting & editing

Job Description

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a videographer/producer with a passion for gaming and video content creation to take their first step into the gaming industry. In this role, you will craft engaging and visually compelling video content tailored for a thriving gaming community. The ideal candidate will have experience in videography, video production, and postproduction. You will work in a fast-paced, highly visible role and be a team player committed to building a career in gaming.

YOU WILL:

Shoot high-quality video content tailored for short-form social media platforms.

Edit videos using tools like Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve to ensure professional-grade quality.

Collaborate with the team to plan and execute video shoots, including preproduction tasks such as storyboarding and shot planning.

Operate high-end DSLR/mirrorless cameras and ensure proper lighting, framing, and audio during shoots.

Stay updated on social media video trends to create innovative and engaging content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Manage and organize video assets for efficient project workflows.

Assist in brainstorming creative video ideas to connect with the gaming audience.

YOU ARE:

Local to the Bay Area of California.

Experienced in filmmaking, including shooting and editing with high-end equipment.

Proficient in postproduction software, particularly Adobe Premiere and/or DaVinci Resolve.

Knowledgeable in video preproduction processes such as scripting, storyboarding, and equipment setup.

Familiar with short-form video trends and the technical requirements of platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

An avid gamer with a passion for storytelling through video.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Annual Salary Range $70,000—85,000 USD
