More than 150,000 businesses – including many of the world’s largest tech companies, rely on us for their customer communication needs.

We dream big – for our company, our customers and our employees – and we hire the best talent worldwide to help us bring our vision to life. We have near 4,500 Sinchers in more than 60 countries – probably somewhere near you!

Sinch is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, with revenues exceeding 28 billion SEK and the company has done more than 20 acquisitions since the foundation in 2008.

We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Head of Corporate Development to lead our M&A strategy and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business.

About the role

As the Head of Corporate Development, you will be responsible for defining and executing our M&A strategy, from identifying potential targets to executing deals and ensuring successful integration. You will work closely with the CFO, CEO, and Board of Directors, presenting and communicating our M&A vision and strategy to senior executives and key stakeholders. Your ability to navigate complex integrations, manage multiple projects efficiently, and build strong relationships both internally and externally will be crucial as we continue to expand and refine our portfolio. We are seeking a leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a dynamic, yet supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the M&A Strategy: Develop and implement a focused M&A strategy that aligns with our company's growth objectives, presenting and communicating this strategy to senior executives, including the Board of Directors.
  • Acquisition and Divestiture Planning: Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities with business owners. Lead and support divestiture processes, ensuring non-core assets are sold efficiently and profitably.
  • Post-Merger Integration: Collaborate with the integration team to monitor the performance of acquired businesses, supporting alignment across teams to maximize synergies and long-term value.
  • Deal Negotiation & Execution: Lead all aspects of deal execution, including negotiations, due diligence, and finalizing agreements, while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives set by the Board.
  • Strategic Financing: Collaborate with the Finance team to structure deal financing and maintain a relationship with financial institutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, external advisors, and financial institutions, to facilitate seamless execution of M&A activities.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a talented and ambitious Corporate Development team, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

This role is based at our HQ in Stockholm, Sweden and reports to our Group CFO.

About You

To be successful in this role you are a highly skilled M&A professional with a strong track record in driving successful acquisitions and integrations, ideally within the technology sector. You excel in dynamic, growth-oriented environments and bring a collaborative, inclusive approach to leadership. You are strategic yet hands-on, ready to make a tangible impact on our company’s growth and success.

  • Extensive experience in M&A and corporate finance, with a proven track record of leading complex transactions. Expertise in managing buy-side and sell-side transactions, including divestitures.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to oversee and coordinate multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a commitment to fostering team growth, collaboration and development.
  • Experience from technology sector, ideally with some exposure to the software industry and its unique dynamics.
  • Academic background in Finance, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or M.Sc. preferred), but we equally value proven expertise and a successful track record in M&A and corporate development.
