Experienced Influencer Campaign Managers aren’t afraid to jump into the fray and make things happen. We are looking for doers & problem solvers - managing influencer campaigns requires always having a Plan B and the willingness to pivot on short notice. From discovery to outreach & negotiation to monitoring go-live & deliverables, you will support the entire process of running multiple influencer marketing campaigns. You will own campaign completion while working with team members from the sales, marketing, and operations teams, and you will be expected to own the end result, despite all of these variables. You’ll be using our proprietary Gamesight platform, which includes all the tools necessary to run campaigns at scale. While these tools will help you, campaign management is not for the faint of heart. You’ll be communicating with creators and agency representatives across a wide range of tools: email, Skype, Discord, WeChat, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Twitter, Basecamp, BlooshChat. Okay, BlooshChat isn’t real, but the rest are, and you WILL get DMs on them!

Ultimately, you’ll work with amazing gaming companies to plan and manage value-packed influencer campaigns on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and more. This position is a Level 3 role on the Gamesight Leveling Framework and requires previous experience. Details on expectations for Level 3 roles can be found here.

What you'll do:

  • Successfully execute influencer marketing campaigns from start to finish by:
    • Identifying project needs.
    • Building the workback schedule and creating a SOW.
    • Working with the data team to make creator recommendations and enhance the campaign pitch deck.
    • Ideating creative concepts, and researching products and markets to understand what ideas will be most successful.
    • Approving the strategy and creator recommendations and setting clear expectations with our customers.
    • Project managing campaign execution to contract creators, ensuring deliverables are met, all Google Sheets are updated, and all required processes are completed. Set clear expectations with creators ensuring they:
      • Go live on time
      • Fulfill their requirements (stream time, panel images, overlays, social copy, talking points, etc.)
      • Deliver appropriate end-of-campaign analytics (when applicable)
      • Immediately flag issues, changes, or challenges as they surface
    • Syncing with the rest of the Gamesight team to keep them (and our customers) informed of campaign progress and proactively remove roadblocks.
    • Building the EOC report, analyzing campaign performance, and conducting post-mortems to make improved recommendations for future campaigns.
    • Taking responsibility for the outcomes of each campaign.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the content creator community, and make recommendations on strategy based on your knowledge.
  • Work with the customer’s internal marketing team to provide creative ideas for activations.
  • Recruit and mobilize thousands of influencers to promote our customer’s games.
  • Build, own, and organize communications & relations with our network of influencers and help upkeep our agency "phonebook" and influencer dashboard.
  • Advocate for our customers, educate them, and ensure we are delivering high-quality content and results that meet (or exceed!) our customer’s goals and efficiently utilize their budget (our goal is always 95+% budget fill rate).
  • Learn different content styles on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch (and any new platforms that pop up), including the economics of influencer marketing.

Who you'll work with:

  • You’ll report to the Head of Influencers, and work alongside other Influencer Campaign Managers, and additional supporting staff to plan and execute campaigns.
    • One of the Principles at Gamesight is “Teamwork Makes the Dream Work,” and it is crucial to success in this role. You’ll help on campaigns that aren’t “yours,” and at times, you’ll need your teammates to do the same.
  • You’ll work directly with our customers joining customer-facing syncs, providing daily updates on campaign progress, and providing detailed reporting.
  • You’ll work in partnership with Account Executives throughout the campaigns, as they’ll be the main point of contact between Gamesight and the customer - you’ll sync regularly, consult one another on decisions, ask questions, and present a united front when roadblocks arise.
  • You’ll work closely with our Data Analysts to generate comprehensive talent discoveries and post-campaign reporting for our customers.
  • You will sit with our Developers, Marketing team, and Solutions Engineers to help you understand and improve the product. You will be expected to provide product feedback, flag bugs, and work directly with those folks to develop collateral material or create automation.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of previous experience in campaign management, video game brand management, creative activations, and/or influencer marketing. 📑
    • Experience in a customer-facing role and/or at a game development studio is heavily preferred. 🤝
  • Familiarity with and love of video games, the gaming industry, and content creation! 🎮
  • Deep understanding of the Twitch/Twitter/YouTube/TikTok gaming space, their trends, and their influencers. 🧠
  • Proven track record of independent project management – you’ve successfully led campaigns from ideation to execution with minimal oversight, demonstrating your ability to prioritize, self-motivate, and deliver high-quality results on tight timelines. 📅
  • Excellent interpersonal, emailing, writing, and speaking skills. 📝
  • Ready to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, take ownership of your projects, and deliver value for our customers. 🚤
  • A desire to grow, improve, innovate, and iterate on skills, processes, systems, and our product. 🌱

  • Willing to set boundaries. It can be easy to overwork when working on campaigns, especially remotely. You need to be willing to set realistic deadlines & expectations with our customers and stop working when the day is done, with very few exceptions. ⛔
  • Exceptional organizational skills to ensure each campaign runs smoothly, on schedule, and hits all the key beats. 🤓
    • You will need to manage multiple approaching deadlines and a bajillion (roughly) email threads - you have to be organized to do this well.
  • You are eager to learn. As a pioneer in a new space, there are still uncharted territories to be explored. You have a hunger for learning and an interest in being the best at what you do. 📚

  • Active social media presence - you already use Discord and have your own Twitch or TikTok account.
  • Familiarity with using data and technology to create innovative brand experiences.
  • Fluent in multiple languages.

  • You are aware of Gamesight policies, guidelines, teams, and roles.
  • You can access all tools and resources required for you to be effective – you also understand how to use these tools within Gamesight’s processes.
  • You understand Gamesight’s methodology and approach to influencer campaigns, creator programs, and community-building.
  • You understand the console, its capabilities (in regard to influencer campaigns), and how to execute campaigns via the Gamesight dashboard.
  • Understand and identify what constitutes a "successful" campaign.
  • You successfully run (project manage from discovery to end-of-campaign reporting) 1 or more influencer campaigns from start to finish, following the correct procedures.
