Job Description

The Junior IT Engineer will primarily support end-users with their daily needs, maintaining the office infrastructure, network, and end-points in US locations. This role involves providing day-to-day operation and user support, handling IT services, and executing strategic IT projects while interacting with various departments and stakeholders. The engineer will also be introduced to Teads' IT infrastructure and tools, learning how to support end-users and collaborate with other team members. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring smooth IT operations within the US offices. The role requires a proactive, solution-oriented individual capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Must have:
  • MAC laptop support experience is essential.
  • PC laptop/desktop support experience is essential.
  • Experience supporting multi-OS platforms is essential.
  • Basic understanding of computer networking.
  • Basic LAN/WAN knowledge, security, and telecoms

About the opportunity

Teads is seeking a Junior IT Engineer to join our global Information Technology Team, supporting our offices across the US and an employee population of around 100-150 people. Based out of our New York City office, we are looking for an engineer who is a solution-driven problem solver that can balance corporate demands within a fast paced environment. 

Teads is the world’s leading content recommendation platform. We work with many of the world’s leading online publishers and brands, helping them monetise their offering and drive customers to their content. 

We are looking for a candidate who is resourceful, bright, proactive, a go-getter who works well independently and as part of a team and is passionate about what she or he does. The candidate should be an energetic self-starter who enjoys working on operational tasks, proactive in delivering the best possible customer experience in a dynamic environment. As the only engineer who supports the US, the candidate will be responsible for all the day-to-day end-users support.

What will you do?

The Junior IT Engineer will mainly support our end-users with all their day-to-day needs. In addition, maintain our office infrastructure, network and end-points throughout Teads’ locations in the US. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with the confidence and experience to provide day-to-day operation and user support, handle the IT services in our US locations and execute strategic IT projects while interacting with the different departments and stakeholders.

Your first six months will look like this:

  • In your first few weeks you will be introduced to Teads’ IT Infrastructure and Tools, learn how to support the end users, maintain the office infrastructure environment and collaborate with other team members across the department.

 

What will you bring to the team?

Technical Skills/Experience (these will be tested in the early stages of the recruitment process):

  • You are likely to have 2-3 years of relevant IT experience
  • MAC laptop support experience/ PC laptop/desktop support - Essential
  • Experience supporting Multi OS platforms - Essential
  • Basic understanding of computer networking
  • Have a basic LAN/WAN knowledge, security and Telecoms

Other Skills/Experience:

  • You must have demonstrable experience
  • Flexible and can understand and overcome challenges head on
  • Great people skills and the ability to work in collaboration with other team members & internal customers

The base salary range is $40-$60K. Salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this role. Pay is based on various non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, and skills.
