Job Description
As a Level Designer at Tripledot Studios, you will be responsible for the entire level creation process for casual games like tile match and block puzzle games. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, brainstorm ideas, and bring levels from concept to polish. This includes defining and testing gameplay experiences, ensuring levels are fun, balanced, and align with game goals. Responsibilities include creating new levels, collaborating with teams, brainstorming, conducting research, planning, executing A/B tests, balancing gameplay, resolving issues, and incorporating narrative goals.
Must have:
- Passionate player of casual mobile games.
- Understanding of trends in the mobile gaming market.
- Basic proficiency in Excel or similar data tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities
Role Overview
As a Level Designer, you will take ownership of the entire level creation process for casual games, such as tile match and block puzzle games. You will work closely with art, product, design, and development teams to gather requirements, brainstorm ideas, and bring each level from concept to final polish. You will define and test gameplay experiences, ensuring levels are fun, balanced, and aligned with the game’s goals.
As a Level Designer, you will take ownership of the entire level creation process for casual games, such as tile match and block puzzle games. You will work closely with art, product, design, and development teams to gather requirements, brainstorm ideas, and bring each level from concept to final polish. You will define and test gameplay experiences, ensuring levels are fun, balanced, and aligned with the game’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating new levels for casual mobile games.
- Collaborate with the art, product, design, and development team to align creative and technical goals.
- Brainstorm and conduct research to improve the quality of levels.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate A/B tests to optimize level performance.
- Balance gameplay elements within artistic and technical constraints.
- Help identify and resolve issues uncovered by playtests and feedback from cross-functional teams.
- Incorporate narrative and emotional goals into the gameplay experience.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Passionate player of casual mobile games, particularly Match-3 and Tile Match titles.
- Understanding of trends and dynamics in the mobile gaming market.
- Basic proficiency in Excel or similar data tools.
- Quick learner with a willingness to master new tools and workflows.
- Prior experience in game or level design is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in spoken and written English.
