Machine Learning Artist Intern

El Ranchito has joined the international visual effects group The Fuse Group, to which the companies FuseFX, Folks and Rising Sun Pictures belong.

El Ranchito is currently looking for a Machine Learning Artist Intern oriented to VFX to join our team at our Madrid facility.

Type of contract: Full-time. Short-term (6 months internship)

Description:

Machine Learning Support for VFX.

Primary responsibilities:

• Support machine learning processes related to VFX, such as face swaps, generative AI, and technical channel generation.
  
• Train ML models and prepare datasets.
• Maintain ML codebases and tools, and manage ML workflows for animation sequences.
• Use of generative AI tools like ComfyUI.

Some of the following requirements: 

• Studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is required.
• Proficiency with ComfyUI.
• Demonstrated experience in ML projects applied to VFX, with examples or portfolio.
• Experience in Machine Learning.
• Strong coding skills in Python.
• Familiar with Machine Learning libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, and/or PyTorch.
• Experience in graphics-oriented programming, both 2D and 3D.
• Personal projects or contributions in VFX-focused Machine Learning will be valued.
• Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and/or English.
