Job Description

As the Media Planning Manager, you will lead the development and execution of media strategies, working closely with internal teams and partners to deliver effective, data-driven campaigns. This involves planning, optimizing media spend, analyzing performance, and staying up-to-date on industry trends to ensure impactful results. Key responsibilities include leading media strategy development, overseeing campaign execution and optimization, managing budgets and vendors, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver performance reports and insights. The role requires experience in media planning, particularly within a fast-paced agency environment, and a strong ability to use data to shape media strategies and drive measurable results.
Must have:
  • Lead media strategy development aligned with brand and campaign objectives.

  • Manage budgets and vendors effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders for alignment.
  • Possess at least 6 years of hands-on media planning experience.

What your typical day will look like: As the Media Planning Manager, you'll lead the development and execution of media strategies, working closely with internal teams and partners to deliver effective, data-driven campaigns. Your day will involve planning, optimizing media spend, analyzing performance, and staying on top of industry trends to ensure impactful results. Core responsibilities include:
  • Lead Media Strategy Development :Design and implement integrated media plans that align with brand and campaign objectives, leveraging consumer insights and market data.
  • Oversee Campaign Execution and Optimization: Manage end-to-end media activation across channels, ensuring timely delivery, performance tracking, and continuous optimization.
  • Budget and Vendor Management: Allocate and monitor media budgets effectively, negotiate with media partners, and ensure cost efficiency and value delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, and deliver clear, actionable performance reports and insights.
A bit about you:
  • Possess least 6 years of hands-on experience in media planning experience, ideally within a fast-paced agency environment.

  • Experience managing clients in the FMCG sector—or working on FMCG-related accounts—is a strong plus and will help you hit the ground running.

  • Confident using data and insights to shape media strategies, optimize performance, and drive measurable results.

  • Excel at building relationships, presenting ideas clearly, and working seamlessly with internal teams and external partners.
