We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest and Cast experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, PhotoPass and Merchandise lines of business.
What you will do:
This role serves as a key leader on the product team supporting the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and website Guest journey. This team sits within the Technology & Digital segment of the Disney Cruise Line business located in Celebration, Florida. Reporting to a Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of product managers responsible for defining the product strategy, creating outcome based roadmaps, and developing requirements.
Leading external vendor teams to deliver products.
Providing product and scorecard updates to business and technology leadership.
Negotiating through blockers.
Collaborating cross-functionally with technology and business leaders to establish commercial strategies using technology and data to drive the business.
Serve as part of squad on larger projects, assisting with their successful completion.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
8+ years combined business and digital experience with 2+ years leading product development life-cycle
Lead on small to medium digital and technology projects, including evaluating and improving estimates, scope, and plans
Experience with technical, user and business issues in a digital organization.
Identify and articulate the impact of the latest industry trends
Work collaboratively across large matrixed organizations
Ability to coach, mentoring, educate, and handle conflict management/negotiations
Experience with Agile software development methodology
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience evaluating emerging technology solutions and companies for fit and viability against use cases.
Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive thinker with the ability to thrive in an often ambiguous, fast paced environment.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
Working knowledge of markets, products, and competitive landscape (including ability to predict and explain current/future trends), and the ability to translate (both verbally and in writing) technologies into business value.
Strong analytical and financial skills.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
