Job Description

Responsible for building skeletal structures, setting controllers, and skinning assets for character bodies, facial expressions, firearms, and props to meet animators' production needs. Collaborate with concept art and modeling teams to formulate early-stage plans, provide binding technical support, and mitigate potential risks. Maintain and configure binding-related resources within the engine to ensure proper use and performance of bound assets. Streamline binding processes and standards, develop or optimize binding tools to improve efficiency and promote standardization. Inspect binding effects and final presentation quality to ensure resources meet project technical and artistic standards.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of game project binding experience.
  • Proficient in 3dsMax binding, capable of manual setup and solving special needs.
  • Experience in character facial expression binding for high-precision characters.
  • Proficient in MaxScript, Python, or another language, with binding tool development experience.
  • Familiar with UE engine resource configuration and practical experience.
Good to have:
  • Passion for games, continuous attention to and learning enthusiasm for new technologies.
  • Some Maya binding experience.
  • Practical experience in modeling or animation, understanding upstream and downstream production needs.
  • Experience in independently developing a complete binding toolchain or workflow automation solution.

Job Requirements

2. Proficient in 3dsMax binding, capable of manually building binding structures and solving special binding needs.

3. Experience in character facial expression binding, capable of high-precision character binding.

4. Proficient in MaxScript, Python, or at least one other development language, with experience in binding tool development.

5. Familiar with UE engine resource configuration process, with practical experience.

6. Clear thinking, patient and meticulous, with good communication skills and teamwork spirit, proactive in work, and passionate about game development.

Bonus Points:

1. Passion for games, continuous attention to and learning enthusiasm for new technologies.

2. Some Maya binding experience.

3. Practical experience in modeling or animation, understanding upstream and downstream production needs.
