1. Responsible for promoting the improvement of level design processes, pipelines, production, and design specifications.
2. Evaluate and organize demands for tools and features, and coordinate with relevant teams to drive improvements.
3. Inspect level-related outputs and submissions, promote issue resolution, and organize level design training for typical issues.
4. Promote the design, production, debugging, and issue resolution of Points of Interest (POI) levels.
5. Participate in town layout design and implementation.
6. Participate in the macroscopic layout and corresponding implementation of the open world.
7. Participate in other level design-related demand design and feedback.
8. Provide guidance, feedback, and supervision on map design and production for junior level designers.
9. Participate in coordination with other functions, involving systems, art, PCG, etc.
10. Carry out the above responsibilities under the guidance of the level design team lead.
1. At least 3-4 years of experience or at least 2 3D game projects in the field of level design, with experience in large-scale online game projects preferred.
2. Familiar with open-world games, with relevant project experience preferred, and relevant online game project experience even better.
3. Familiar with level design processes and quality standards, with rich experience in level-related prototype construction and iteration preferred.
4. Proficient in at least one common commercial game engine such as Unreal or Unity, and skilled in the engine and pipeline used in previous projects.
5. Experience in technical verification and implementation, especially in planning and level design, with coding ability preferred.
6. Familiar with version control, task and issue tracking, and knowledge bases.
7. Willing to cooperate and actively respond to feedback and opinions.
