Additional Responsibilities:

• Client Liaison: Liaise with clients to gather technical requirements and create clear workflows for sound operators.

• Process Improvement: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across teams.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other GT&O organizations (MAM, Ingest, Engineering, MCR, Programming, OAP, Preview Team, and Transmission) to maintain strong working relationships and effective communication.

• Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor Linear and Digital platforms for service interruptions and report back to the Sound Operations Manager promptly.

• Professional Development: Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies relating to broadcast operations.

• Health and Safety: Prioritize safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of audio production processes, including audio routing, tagging, Riedel talkback, BNCS, and Lawo desks.

• Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges and ensure smooth operations.

• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and production partners, understanding their specific needs and delivering exceptional results.

• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality audio delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven track record in broadcast audio.

• Technical Expertise: Experience in operating Lawo desks, Riedel talkback, and Atos BNSC Network Control Systems.

• Passion for Audio: A genuine passion for audio and a strong understanding of audio production workflows.
