The specialist will collaborate with the brand management team to understand tasks and challenges. They will analyze data, generate accurate reports, and act as a liaison between teams. They are expected to identify problem shipments, implement data-driven solutions, and ensure seamless communication to solve issues. This role involves working with warehouse data and processes, generating insights, and providing support to brands.

Job Information 

The Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in assisting our brand management team by providing data-driven information, troubleshooting operational issues, and building a robust reporting layer. The position will help us navigate and optimize our 3PL services and provide unparalleled support to our brands.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate closely with the brand management team to understand operational tasks and challenges.

  • Utilize your expertise in warehouse data and processes to answer questions and troubleshoot issues raised by brands.

  • Analyze data and generate accurate reports to address queries on shipment discrepancies, shipping methods, inventory levels, and more.

  • Inform and help build a comprehensive reporting layer that provides brands with insights into their business and inventory status.

  • Act as a liaison between the brand management team and the Operations team to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution.

  • Identify problem shipments proactively and assist in making the best plan of action for customers, brands, and Pattern.

  • Implement data-driven solutions to enhance inventory management.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in operations support, data analysis, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect data to provide precise answers and insights.

  • Proficiency in working with warehouse data and processes, understanding the intricacies of 3PL services.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both internal teams and external brands.

  • Endless curiosity for solving complex puzzles and determining root causes.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.

  • Familiarity with data reporting tools and the ability to develop reporting structures.

Physical Demands

  • Manual Dexterity: Typing or otherwise working primarily with hands or fingers in an office environment.

  • Sedentary work: Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, including computers, papers, and other general office equipment. 

  • Seeing: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading. 

  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word in activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately.

  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, by phone or in person.
