Job Description

As an Ecommerce Operations Associate, you will be a key member of the B2B DTC Ecommerce team, driving revenue and maximizing efficiencies. Your responsibilities include monitoring dropship orders, managing inventory across retail channels, working with 3PL warehouses, and ensuring compliance with trading partners. You will also be involved in new trading partner setups, item maintenance, and communication with trading partners. You'll need to use systems and retail partner portals, solve problems, and occasionally support warehouse teams. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar environment.
Must have:
  • Monitor dropship purchase orders from retail partners
  • Manage and allocate inventory across retail channels
  • Process inventory transfers
  • Ensure order processing and timely delivery
  • Ensure compliance with each trading partner’s shipping guidelines
  • Respond to trading partner communications
  • Track and order shipping materials
  • Set up new retail trading partners
  • Upload item information to retail portals
  • Upload compliance documentation to trading partner portals
  • Download reports from trading partner portals
  • Monitor websites for counterfeits and knock-offs
  • Solve problems through communication
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
Good to have:
  • Experience with Amazon's Vendor Central portal
  • Familiarity with mass retail portals (Walmart, Target, etc.)
  • Familiarity with channel management portals
  • Advanced knowledge with Excel
  • Basic knowledge of logistics and inventory management
  • Understanding of accounting basics
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamic Business Central (BC)
  • Exposure to EDI

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our B2B DTC Ecommerce team in our Richardson, TX location. As a key member of our Ecommerce team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and maximizing efficiencies.

This position supports various aspects of our direct-to-consumer Ecommerce operations. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the flow of dropship orders from our retail trading partners and working with our 3PL warehouses to ensure timely processing of the orders. In addition, you will help to support related processes in the ecommerce ecosystem such as inventory management, new trading partner setups, item maintenance and communication with our trading partners.

 

Responsibilities

·       Monitor the flow of dropship purchase orders from our retail trading partners.

·       Manage and allocate inventory across multiple retail channels.

·       Process inventory transfers.

·       Work with 3PL warehouses to ensure orders are received and processed on time.

·       Ensure compliance is achieved with each trading partner’s routing and shipping.

·       Respond to trading partner communications.

·       Track shipping material levels (boxes, tape, etc.) and order as needed.

·       Coordinate new retail trading partner setups by working with both internal and external teams.

·       Upload item information (content, digital assets, etc.) to retail trading partner portals.

·       Upload compliance documentation to trading partner portals.

·       Download reports from trading partner portals.

·       Monitor retail trading partner websites for possible counterfeits and knock offs.

·       Learn and know how to use our systems and retail trading partner portals.

·       Occasionally support the dropship warehouse team with order processing.

·       Solve problems through communication with internal teams, including Operations, Sales, and Accounting.

·       Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar environment.

·       Strong problem-solving skills.

·       Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

·       Intermediate proficiency in the MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel.

·       Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

·       Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities.

·       Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

·       Ability to lift boxes up to 30lbs on occasion.    

Preferred Experience 

·       Experience working with Amazon's Vendor Central portal.

·       Familiarity with mass retail portals (Walmart, Target, Kohls, etc.).

·       Familiarity with channel management portals (CommerceHub, Channel Advisor, etc.)

·       Advanced knowledge with Excel.

·       Basic knowledge of logistics and inventory management.

·       Understanding of accounting basics.

·       Experience with Microsoft Dynamic Business Central (BC).

·       Exposure and or understanding of EDI (TrueCommerce, SPS Commerce, Etc.)
