Job Description

As a Specialist Partner Engineer specializing in security, you will work closely with Partner Development Managers and Partner Engineers to grow and support the Google Cloud security partner ecosystem. You will lead cybersecurity efforts, enabling partners with technical knowledge in industry-relevant technologies and solutions. You'll contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by supporting partners in showcasing Google Cloud security solutions. This involves assisting partners through proof of concept, data migration, application migration, and deployment phases, ensuring access to Google Cloud resources. Responsibilities include enabling partners to prototype and demonstrate product integrations, supporting partner solution development, recommending integration strategies, working with Partner Managers to recruit partners, onboarding partners to the Marketplace, building technical assets, and scaling customer wins through partner promotion.

Must have:

10+ years cloud architecture experience (partner-facing)
Experience presenting to technical and executive stakeholders
Cloud architecture design & workload migration experience
Cybersecurity industry experience
Excellent communication skills

Good to have:

Experience with virtualization/containerization
Google Cloud & cybersecurity solutions expertise
Networking & security concepts knowledge
Business partnership building experience

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with cloud architecture in a partner-facing or support role.
Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Experience designing and building architectures and migrating workloads to cloud environments.
Experience working in, supporting, or working with technologies or solutions related to, the cybersecurity industry.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with virtualization or containerization platforms and migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
Experience with Google Cloud solutions, as well as cybersecurity-specific solutions and concepts.
Experience with networking and security concepts.
Experience building business partnerships with partners and customers in an architecture or solution delivery role.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders, and working cross-functionally, in a collaborative, environment.
Excellent communication skills, with experience conducting partner technical engagements.

In this role, you will lead the cybersecurity focused efforts to enable partners with technical knowledge in industry relevant technologies and solutions. You will contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by supporting partners as they illustrate how Google Cloud security solutions can help customers innovate, bring their services to market, differentiate from competitors, and create new business growth streams. You will help partners succeed in the proof of concept, data migration, application migration, and deployment phase, ensuring they have full access to Google Cloud’s artifacts, tools, templates, and practices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$214,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Enable partners in prototype and demonstrate product integrations and guiding customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environments. Support partners developing solutions, ensuring the use of Google Cloud.
Recommend and review integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to implement complete solutions on Google Cloud.
Work with Partner Managers to identify and recruit partners in the market that can deliver innovative and complete solutions to our customers. Onboard partners to the Marketplace and empower them to drive successful pilots, proofs of concept, and production workloads.
Build technical assets collaborate with partners to develop Google Cloud specific solution documentation, joint technical articles, webinars, whitepapers, and demos with ISV products.
Scale customer wins through partners by promoting the partner with account teams and developing relationships.
