Job Description

As a Product Manager for Cloud Storage Security and Governance at Google, you will drive strategy, ideation, and execution of security and governance capabilities for Google Cloud Storage (GCS). You'll define product requirements, manage the feature/release lifecycle, and collaborate with engineering, other product areas, and stakeholders. The role involves accelerating adoption and growth by partnering with cross-functional teams. You'll need to understand the challenges of building a service at Google's scale. Responsibilities include defining product requirements for new features and releases, working cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, and understanding the challenges and opportunities associated with building a service at Google's scale. This role focuses on building products and capabilities that address the data protection and privacy needs of GCS customers globally.

Must have:

5+ years product management experience
2+ years experience launching technical products
2+ years experience in data storage product management
Drive product strategy and execution
Define product requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Good to have:

Experience in data privacy and protection product development
Experience building products in systems

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
2 years of experience in product management and in data storage.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience building and launching new products in data privacy.
Experience building and launching new products in data protection.
Experience with product development in systems.

Drive strategy, idea, and execution of security and governance capabilities.
Define product requirements for new features and releases.
Drive feature/release life-cycle working with engineering, other product areas (e.g., Cloud Security) and other stakeholders.
Accelerate adoption and business growth by partnering with cross-product area teams, account teams, and solution teams.
Understand the challenges and opportunities associated with building a service for the scale of the team.
