What we are looking for:

The Krafton Americas Human Resources team is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist.

Responsibilities:

Payroll

  • Own the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Work with HRBP Teams to address employee inquiries related to payroll and compensation.
  • Manage the payroll tax function including account setup of new states, and/or locals, quarterly and annual reconciliations, tax filings, and related reporting requirements.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Completing internal compliance tasks and audits for headquarters.

Compensation

  • Support HRBPs, talent, and business leaders by providing compensation bands, resources, training, and consulting as needed.
  • Participate in compensation and benefit surveys to collect and analyze data to determine company’s competitive position and internal equity.
  • Assist PMs and HRBPs in compensation program updates and salary range changes.
  • Support HRBPs in the management of contract workforce, monitoring time in role, time-off or leave requests, and compensation.

Benefits

  • Lead role in managing health and welfare compliance.
  • Works closely with Program Manager and HRBPs during open enrollment and end-to-end setup of new plans or benefit plan changes to include configuration, testing, audits, and communications.
  • Analyze benefit program operational data (Ie. utilization, claim incidence, program spending, feedback) and present findings and recommendations on where benefit program effectiveness can be improved.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Ability to work with details and time-sensitive, confidential issues.
  • Knowledge of human resources laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Can create reports, utilizing various data and metrics that help identify trends, provide insights to senior leaders, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; process oriented.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing with some working knowledge of compensation programs and resources.
  • 2+ year experience specifically working with ADP, working knowledge of Workday is a huge plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, finance/accounting, or related field. Experience may be substituted for degree, if experience demonstrates an increase or depth and breadth of responsibility.

In California, the expected salary range for this position is $80,000-$105,000. The listed expected salary range represents a good faith estimate and the actual pay may depend on a variety of job-related factors that can include experience, education, skills, and location.
