ConsonantOne is a Recruitment Firm specialised in hiring for global Marketing, Brand, and Sales Departments. We're currently looking for Proofreaders specialised in editing & proofing technical documents + marketing collateral for our client in Bengaluru, KA

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Proofreader, who will be:

Proofreading and technical fact checking; correct spelling, grammar and layout. Highlighting errors, comments and changes on PDF documents using the Markup feature on Adobe Acrobat.

Review and proofread content and design of various technical documents, including PowerPoints, RFPs, videos, infographics, newsletters and emailers to ensure accuracy, clarity and adherence to brand guidelines

Work with cross functional design & content teams to rectify errors.

Qualifications:

3 years of experience in a Proofreading or Editor role

Strong spelling and grammar skills

Familiarity with APA Style guide

Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.

Experience with Project Management/Workflow Management tools (Adobe Workfront)

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail
