ConsonantOne is a Recruitment Firm specialised in hiring for global Marketing, Brand, and Sales Departments. We're currently looking for Proofreaders specialised in editing & proofing technical documents + marketing collateral for our client in Bengaluru, KA

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Proofreader, who will be:

• Proofreading and technical fact checking; correct spelling, grammar and layout. Highlighting errors, comments and changes on PDF documents using the Markup feature on Adobe Acrobat.
• Review and proofread content and design of various technical documents, including PowerPoints, RFPs, videos, infographics, newsletters and emailers to ensure accuracy, clarity and adherence to brand guidelines
• Work with cross functional design & content teams to rectify errors.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in a Proofreading or Editor role
• Strong spelling and grammar skills
• Familiarity with APA Style guide
• Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with Project Management/Workflow Management tools (Adobe Workfront)
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
