The Opportunity 

As a People Program Management Specialist within our People Team organization, you will be pivotal in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role will support various HR verticals with data analytics, special projects, and program administration. Additionally, this position will be responsible for facilitating immigration processes for new hires and existing employees, assisting with relocation timelines, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies, and providing support to employees transitioning internationally or relocating for work. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of standard recruiting practices, employment-based and student work visas, and experience working with employees from diverse backgrounds.

What you’ll do 

  • Facilitate the employment visa and immigration process for employees, including temporary work permits, permanent residency, and student visa categories.
  • Coordinate to ensure timely filed application petitions, extensions, and renewals for employees.
  • Gather, organize, and record relevant candidate intake information and support documentation to appropriate databases.
  • Perform Form I-9 verifications to ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Administer People systems and software leveraging technology to track/organize data, increase efficiency across people processes/service automation, employee reporting, and employee compliance audits.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and program metrics by creating regular reports, presentations, and dashboards to track People program performance and output. 
  • Support various People Team initiatives and special projects requiring strict timelines, adaptability, and a solution-oriented approach. 
  • Collaborate with People leaders, department heads, and both internal and external stakeholders to fully understand the business needs and ensure People programs meet organizational objectives. 

The experience you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in an HR or related role, ideally in a technology or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills with a focus on influencing and building relationships across levels
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. We are most interested in your overall experience and professional achievements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively communicating with internal and external business partners.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and varying deadlines.

It’s exciting if you also have

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification
  • 2+ years of experience in global mobility and immigration services
  • Certification in Global Mobility (e.g., GMS - Global Mobility Specialist), Project Management certification (PMP, PPM, ACP, etc.), or other HR-related certifications 
  • Experience managing technical and non-technical HR projects, such as policy implementation, HR software procurement/renewals, or system enhancements and automation.
