Must have:
  • Experience in DevOps, System Administration, or related areas
  • Expertise in Linux/Unix
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Knowledge of AWS services and architecture
  • Working experience with EKS/EKS-A
  • Knowledge creating and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Ability to learn Nasdaq's systems

Now, we are looking to hire a Platform Operations Specialist to strengthen our operations team and ensure the detailed performance of our pioneering market platforms.

About the Team:

Our Platform Operations team is responsible for the reliable functioning of Nasdaq's critical market systems and infrastructure. The team handles operational excellence across our platforms, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency for services that power global financial markets.

About the Role:

In this role, you will operate and maintain our platforms, handling incoming issues, solving incidents, and proactively improving our systems. You'll be responsible for performance testing and recovery procedures for different releases. You'll also participate in exciting projects to enhance and introduce improvements, new products, and entirely new platforms. You can expect an autonomous but fast-paced work environment where you are recognized for your results and ability to drive initiatives forward.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing, planning, and deploying changes to existing systems for operational excellence, as well as implementing new solutions to enhance how we test, deploy, maintain, and operate
  • Maintaining operational documentation needed for second-line operation
  • Leading projects and independently carrying out our parts of large implementation projects
  • Handling incoming issues, incident solving, requirements gathering, and launching new releases
  • Enhancing processes and implementing automation

What we expect:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive experience in DevOps, System Administration, Network, Application Operations, or other related areas
  • Demonstrated expertise in Linux/Unix
  • Extensive experience with Terraform
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in AWS services and architecture
  • Extensive working experience with EKS/EKS-A
  • Extensive knowledge creating and managing CI/CD pipelines, experience in Git/GitLab
  • Proven knowledge of scripting and automation
  • Excellent language skills in written and spoken English
  • The ability to learn Nasdaq's own systems combined with a great work ethic
  • AWS certificates would be a plus

What happens now?
This is a full-time permanent position located in Vilnius. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office, therefore it's required to come into the office at least 2 days per week.

Monthly base salary range: 3500 - 3800 EUR gross. The final offer will be based on your experience and skills.

Our Vilnius office is in the modern K29 business center, easily accessed via bus, but we also offer bike storage.
