About the job:
As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. Manage and execute processes for timely, cost effective procurement while working with suppliers/partners and internal cross-functional teams. Conceptualize and build capabilities on spend analytics, leveraging advanced data analytics skills to drive executive alignment and operational efficiency. Drive cost productivity improvements through price negotiations, secondary sourcing, procurement process improvements. Source and escalation activities with our Suppliers and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) for price, lead-time or shortage issues. Drive timely release of orders, material delivery to hub, root cause analysis for late deliveries.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program management
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in forecasting/planning/supply chain and implementing process improvements
  • Experience interacting with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
  • Interest for automation and process improvements

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in forecasting/planning/supply chain and implementing process improvements.
