Description
We are a company that is 100% focused on delivering digital information and solutions to our customers all around the world. Our QA team is also 100% remote. As a QA tester- your role will be interfacing with our development team to reveal, track, report, and prioritize bugs on various components of our web properties. These include front-facing user pages, checkout pages, and e-learning web portals - as well as backend API integrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in a QA capacity and a strong understanding of QA methodology and tools
- 3-5 years of experience in hands-on development integration and troubleshooting of test hardware/software
- Experience in working with web technologies and languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
- Experience with Agile System Development Life Cycle and Development methodologies
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with strong consulting and problem-solving ability
- Strong willingness and independent attitude to learn new things
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving software development team environment
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and superior attention to detail
- Write and maintain test cases and test plans
- Verification and validation testing for new releases of software and systems
- Perform functional, usability testing, and black box testing
- Setup and configure necessary test equipment and environments for test execution
- Design, develop, and run automated scripts using test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, TestNG, etc.
- Collaborate with software developers and QA analysts to understand the requirements and specifications of web applications
- Review and analyze test results and reports, and document technical issues and defects
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues, bugs, and feedback reported by users or clients
- Provide recommendations and suggestions for improving the quality and efficiency of the testing process
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and web development
