Job Description

As a Regional Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling QNX products, services, and solutions to specific automotive accounts in the North America region. This involves identifying new accounts, developing opportunities within existing ones, and ensuring target sales achievement while maintaining customer satisfaction. You will build and maintain customer relationships, manage expectations, and collaborate with an assigned sales team, including a Field Application Engineer, Inside Sales Representative, and Business Development, to analyze customer requirements, deliver products and services, and manage the sales cycle. You'll also work with internal teams to ensure a coordinated approach, including defining strategic marketing initiatives, communicating customer technical requirements to R&D, and ensuring support commitments are fulfilled. Regular forecasting and reporting, including managing the accuracy of the forecast pipeline and lead management, will be part of your responsibilities.
Must have:
  • Consistent sales quota achievement in automotive market.
  • Knowledge of real-time embedded software and North American automotive industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Confident and influential communication skills.
  • Experience in closing major accounts, with accurate forecasting and CRM abilities.
  • Ability to work in all sales media, including proposal writing and presentations.

As part of our successful North American Sales team, the Regional Account Manager, North America will be responsible for selling QNX products, services and solutions to specific automotive accounts in NA, ensuring target sales achievement and total customer satisfaction.   • Sell QNX software solutions to a specified list of Automotive Tier 1’s and OEMs in the NA region; identifying new accounts and developing new opportunities in existing accounts.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships, managing expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Working with the sales team, comprised of an assigned Field Application Engineer, Inside Sales Representative and Business Development to analyse customer requirements, deliver product and services against customer needs and manage the sales cycle through to revenue recognition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a coordinated, well executed approach to the Tier 1’s and OEMs accounts you manage and ensuring delivering on commitments made to these prospects/customers. This includes assisting in defining strategic marketing initiatives, liaising with R&D to communicate customer technical requirements, and ensuring support commitments are fulfilled to deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular forecasting and reporting including managing the accuracy of the forecast pipeline, lead management, and being the voice of the customer within QNX.
You will have:
  • A track record of consistent sales quota achievement & ideally over-achievement in consultative selling to the Tier 1s and OEMs in the Automotive market (Infotainment, Telematics, Digital Instrument Cluster, ADAS, Acoustics, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the real-time embedded software market & North American automotive industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Confident and influential communication skills
  • Experience negotiating, managing and closing major accounts, with accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene abilities
  • Ability working in all sales media, including proposal writing and delivering presentations to customers.
