Job Description

The Quality Assurance Associate at FlowPlay will test Real Money Gaming, social casino, and other online gaming products to ensure a high-quality experience. Responsibilities include executing test cases, completing checklists, performing regression testing, identifying and reporting bugs, participating in testing cycles, collaborating with developers, testing across multiple devices, providing feedback on usability, and assisting in testing marketing materials. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
Must have:
  • Execute test cases and scenarios for new game features.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs using TestRail.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
Good to have:
  • Experience with TestRail and TestFlight.
  • Familiarity with social casino or online gaming platforms.
  • Basic understanding of game development processes.

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Associate at FlowPlay is responsible for testing our Real Money Gaming, social casino, and other online gaming products to ensure a high-quality, bug-free experience for our players. This role involves thorough testing of new features, updates, and existing functionality across a variety of platforms and devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test cases and scenarios for new game features and updates

  • Complete weekly maintenance checklists

  • Perform regression testing on existing game functionality

  • Identify, document, and report bugs using TestRail

  • Participate in bi-weekly game update testing cycles

  • Collaborate with developers and QA teammates to resolve issues

  • Test across multiple devices and platforms

  • Provide feedback on game usability and player experience

  • Assist in testing marketing materials and in-game events

  • Stay informed on game features and mechanics for comprehensive coverage

Performance Expectations

  • Clearly and concisely identify and report bugs

  • Meet deadlines for testing cycles and updates

  • Maintain strong attention to detail

  • Proactively identify issues or areas for improvement

  • Communicate effectively with team members and across departments

Required Skills and Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of software testing principles

  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools

  • General computer proficiency and ability to learn new tools quickly

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Effective written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work independently and within a team

  • Patience and persistence in problem-solving

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience with TestRail and TestFlight (training provided)

  • Familiarity with social casino or online gaming platforms

  • Passion for gaming and understanding player experiences

  • Willingness to work flexible hours during testing cycles
