As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
In this role, you will lead Cable Landing Stations (CLS) and Outside Plant (OSP) Operations for the South region, overseeing all aspects of owned build CLS, consortium-led projects, third-party colocation, and all OSP and infrastructure. You will ensure transition from build to operations, managing the quality acceptance process and overseeing the go-live within Google’s central Network Operations Center (NOC). You will collaborate with key suppliers, consortia partners, telecom providers, customers, and internal teams across central operations, networks, finance, and regulatory, you will drive network availability and reliability. You will also focus on optimizing infrastructure performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring operational excellence across facilities.
This role will be permanently based in Fiji.
