Job Description

The Vice President, Life Sciences Instruments, will lead the development and execution of the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for life sciences instruments. This role involves close collaboration with key customers and internal teams, acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives. Responsibilities include managing a growing team, working cross-functionally with marketing, product, implementation, and finance, and overseeing fiscal and budget planning. The VP will also contribute to shaping the company's strategic direction and influence the XR solution roadmap, representing the interests of the life sciences instruments market. A strong background in the Life Sciences sector, especially with Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), is essential.

Must have:

Advanced degree (MBA or related field)
7+ years post-graduate experience
Consulting experience (Principal/Associate Partner level)
Life Sciences expertise (OEMs)
Strong leadership and mentorship skills
Strategic thinking and project management
Business development and customer relationship building

Job Details

As Vice President (VP) Life Sciences Instruments, you will be responsible for driving growth by leading further development and execution of our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for the life sciences instruments sector, a key target market for realworld one.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with key customers and internal teams to address the most critical business challenges within their service, sales, and application organizations by leveraging our XR solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will engage with senior executives at the C-suite, VP, and Director levels to define tailored strategies for solving their key business challenges and oversee the execution to drive impactful outcomes.

You will manage and mentor a growing team, guiding their development and ensuring their success within the organization. In addition, you will work cross-functionally with marketing, product, implementation, and finance teams to drive alignment and ensure the seamless execution of our GTM strategy. You will also own the fiscal and budget planning process, including forecasting, to ensure all strategies align with the company's overall financial objectives.

As a member of realworld one's Leadership Team, you will work closely with senior leaders and the CEO to shape the company's strategic direction and influence the XR solution roadmap, representing the interests of the life sciences instruments market.

Qualifications

Advanced degree, preferably an MBA or master's degree in a relevant field
7+ years of work experience post-graduate school, with a proven track record of professional achievement and impact
Experience at the Principal/Associate Partner level or higher in the consulting industry, preferably at a tier-one consulting firm
Demonstrated experience in developing new customer relationships and generating business development opportunities, leading to successful customer engagements
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with experience overseeing large-scale projects and driving them to successful completion
Extensive expertise in the Life Sciences sector, with a strong emphasis on Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs); experience with service organizations is a significant plus
Proven leadership and mentorship abilities, with a focus on guiding and developing junior to mid-level professionals
