Full Stack Web Developer

Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Full Stack Web Developer team to develop .NET with strong MVC expertise to take ownership of a key project. HTML, Javascript, SQL. 

This is a 6 – month contract + possible extension. The team is located in California, and the role is fully remote. Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.

Full Stack Web Developer Responsibilities: 

• Independently manage and drive assigned projects from inception to completion.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of an existing web platforms
• Collaborate closely with the technical lead on project tasks and objectives.
• Analyze and understand existing data sources to inform development efforts.
• Rewrite and refactor existing platform components.
• Contribute to the redesign of the user interface (UI) with a focus on improved deployment.
• Collaborates early with business development and/or customers to thoroughly understand their business problems and goals.
• Analyzes user needs and software requirements to assess design feasibility within time and budget.
• Oversees software system installation and monitors equipment performance to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Designs, develops, and modifies software systems, employing scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and evaluate design outcomes.
• Analyzes information to recommend and plan computer specifications, layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications
• This role involves enhancing an existing platform in parallel with core team.
• You will collaborate closely with the tech lead on several UI enhancements.

Full Stack Web Developer Requirements: 

• 3+ years of experience in similar role
• The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a full-stack skillset
• Proficient in .NET, HTML, and JavaScript
• Capable of working independently to analyze data sources
• Refactor code
• Redesign the UI for optimization
• Strong proficiency in the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern.
• Proven track record of meeting project deadlines.
• Experience with SQL (nice to have!)
