Retail experience is a plus
Experience with analyzing and mitigating risks

About the Opportunity

As the Retail Construction Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Retail Operations managing the FASHIONPHILE retail construction arm as well as various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Must have keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure that all construction activities align with the established timeline and budget. Expertise in project management will be crucial in coordinating resources, resolving any issues that may arise, and delivering successful construction projects on time and on budget. Responsibilities include:

Oversee all aspects of a construction project, from planning timelines and managing budgeting to ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Managing vendor relationships.
Follow project budgets and collaborate/coordinate with other Fashionphile team members.
Oversee onsite and offsite construction work to ensure the project runs smoothly, on schedule and on budget.
Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

3-5 years of experience with construction/project management
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Project Management or 5 years of experience in related construction project management preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to solve problems
Excellent time and project management skills
Retail experience a plus
Experience with analyzing, managing and mitigating risks

Work Location
This position is based full-time 5 days a week onsite at our Carlsbad, CA location with travel to construction sites up to 40% of the time. During peak periods, typically two weeks each month, travel requirements may increase to 50%. You may also be asked to travel occasionally to other domestic locations.

Compensation FASHIONPHILE reasonably expects the range to be $80,000-$100,000 for this position in our California and New York Locations and offers an Annual Bonus Opportunity aligned to our Manager level. Offered compensation will vary based on (a) location; (b) individual candidate qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience.
