Job Description

As a Retention and Expansion Sales Specialist at Google Cloud, you'll manage and grow a portfolio of APAC accounts, focusing on renewals and expansion opportunities. You'll be proficient in Google Cloud's security product SaaS offerings and represent the full suite of products and services. Responsibilities include developing and executing account plans, identifying new opportunities, delivering presentations and proposals, collaborating on agreements, building relationships with key decision-makers, and staying updated on Google Cloud Security and Mandiant products. You'll represent Google Cloud Security at industry events and conferences. The role requires strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, along with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity and cloud landscape.
Must have:
  • 7+ years sales experience in enterprise software/cloud/AI
  • Enterprise cybersecurity or IT client experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Account planning & growth strategy
  • Business presentation & proposal development
Good to have:
  • Experience in international markets
  • Managing large, complex agreements
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity & cloud market trends
  • Executive-level communication
  • Building relationships with security & IT executives

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software, cloud space, or Artificial Intelligence (AI) space.
  • Experience with clients in the enterprise cybersecurity or IT field.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently in order to communicate in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience securing/growing a customer base and carrying/exceeding business goals.
  • Experience in international markets and managing large, complex agreements.
  • Knowledge of product and solution market trends in cybersecurity and cloud.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and communicate business activity, concepts, technical benefits in business terms at the executive-level.
  • Ability to build relationships promoting to executives across security and IT business units.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve renewal and growth/expansion goals.
  • Manage and grow a large portfolio of accounts, identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts for promotions.
  • Develop and deliver business presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate on and finalize agreements, build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date on a full suite of Google Cloud Security and Mandiant products and services, representing Google Cloud Security at industry events and conferences.
