About the team manager

Liviu Chirita is Partner responsible for PwC CEE Tech Extended Delivery Center. Originally with a background in financial services risk management, he has led an expansion of the current team into wider Risk & Regulatory topics including digital and technology related support to PwC clients. The existing multinational team is predominantly Prague based.


Job description

As a Business Development Manager - Technology Solutions at PwC CZ/CEE’s regional technology hub (TEDc), you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our technology services. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing key client relationships, and leading our team to consistently achieve and exceed ambitions. Your strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and exceptional leadership skills will be key to our success.
 
Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving the expansion of PwC CEE’s Extended Delivery Capacity (TEDc), focusing on supporting the scaling of delivery centers and technology talent hubs across the region (and the network).

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to enhance the delivery capabilities in areas such as digital transformation, software development, systems integration, data analytics, and cloud-based solutions.

  • Establishing strategic partnerships with technology service providers, ensuring alignment with PwC’s standards for quality, scalability, and performance.

  • Leading efforts to recruit, manage, and optimize delivery teams, ensuring they are equipped to support complex transformation projects across a diverse client base.

  • Staying ahead of market trends and technology innovations to continuously expand and refine the delivery ecosystem, ensuring PwC remains competitive and at the forefront of technological advancement.

  • Acting as a trusted technology advisor to (primarily internal) clients, aligning delivery models with their specific needs, and supporting their large-scale transformation initiatives.

  • Setting and monitoring KPIs to ensure high-quality delivery performance, managing client satisfaction, and driving long-term engagement through effective delivery solutions.

  • Collaborating closely with internal teams, including Product Development, Risk and Reg Tech, Data & Analytics, and Cybersecurity, to enhance cross-functional synergies and streamline service offerings.

  • Leading continuous process improvements and scaling of service delivery, ensuring the TEDc model remains agile, efficient, and responsive to evolving client demands.

  • Supporting PwC’s mission to provide innovative, technology-driven solutions to a broad spectrum of industries, helping clients navigate digital disruption and business transformation.


Requirement of the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field with a Master’s degree (preferably in technology)

  • 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, delivery, or a related leadership role, with a proven track record in managing large-scale, complex delivery ecosystems, preferably within tech services.

  • Demonstrated success in scaling delivery teams, establishing and optimizing extended delivery models, and driving successful technology transformation projects.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional technology teams, including remote and globally distributed teams.

  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of how to leverage technology and delivery capacity to support business objectives and client transformation initiatives.

  • Expertise in building strategic partnerships with technology service providers and delivery centers, ensuring alignment with organizational quality and performance standards.

  • In-depth knowledge of technology services and emerging trends such as cloud computing, software development, data analytics, and systems integration.

  • Strong understanding of risk and regulatory technologies and their role in supporting client needs within regulated industries.

  • Proficiency in managing KPIs, performance metrics, and delivery models to ensure high-quality service and client satisfaction.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships, internal teams, and stakeholders effectively.

  • A data-driven mindset, with experience using tools for delivery forecasting, performance management, and operational efficiency.

  • A client-centric approach, focusing on delivering innovative, high-quality solutions that meet evolving client needs.
