Bohemia Interactive seeks an experienced Vehicle Programmer to contribute to Arma 4's development using their Enfusion engine. The role involves designing and implementing networked vehicle simulations, focusing on realism and modifiability for their extensive modding community. Responsibilities include fine-tuning vehicle physics, ensuring gameplay stability and addressing complex technical challenges. The ideal candidate possesses strong C++ programming skills, a deep understanding of OOP, experience with vehicle physics simulation, and a passion for game development. The position requires proficiency in profiling and debugging, excellent teamwork, and fluent English communication.

Job Details

Vehicle Programmer

We are looking for an experienced programmer to contribute to the development of our games, which are powered by the latest version of our Enfusion engine. You will work on game systems related to networked vehicle simulations, directly influencing the gameplay and user experience. You will implement systems with a focus on realism and modifiability (we have a great modding community).

Job Description

Do you dream in C++ and hear the roar of engines in your sleep? We’re looking for a vehicle programmer to bring steel and smoke to life in our military sandbox, Arma 4. From fine-tuning suspension physics to making sure helicopters don’t spontaneously cartwheel into the sunset (unless they should), you’ll be the mastermind behind our armored beasts. If you love coding as much as you love meticulously recreating the hum of a powerful engine, then this is your battlefield. Join us today. Requirements

  • Knowledge of C++
  • Strong understanding of OOP design
  • Experience in game development
  • Good insight into profiling and debugging complex applications
  • Ability to learn quickly and put new skills to use

  • Good spoken and written English
