This Senior Account Executive role focuses on new business acquisition for Google. Responsibilities include managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and building a pipeline to closing deals and maintaining client relationships. This involves proactive outreach, collaboration with internal teams (Sales Development, Onboarding, Agency, LCS, and Marketing), and consultative selling utilizing Google's marketing solutions (YouTube, Search, Shopping, Display Network, App Promotion). The role requires designing effective marketing strategies, leveraging expert product knowledge to drive customer success, and exceeding quota attainment. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential for pitching comprehensive advertising solutions. Fluency in English and either Dutch or a Scandinavian language is mandatory.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in new business sales and exceeding quota attainment.
  • Ability to communicate in English and either Dutch or one of the Scandinavian languages (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish) to manage client relationships in this area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a working strategy.
  • Experience in planning, delivering and executing marketing campaigns, measurement and creative strategy.
  • Experience in building a pipeline from scratch through tactical focus and execution.
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry and knowledge of the local market with insights into both digital and traditional media.
  • Ability to be an Independent, comfortable with ambiguity, and with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions for all clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the whole business cycle as an experienced sales professional for the new business acquisition from early stages to closing the customers and managing the relationship.
  • Prospect and build a robust pipeline of new business by proactively identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working in partnership with our Sales Development (BDRs), Onboarding, Agency, LCS and Marketing teams.
  • Acquire touch value business agreements through outbound prospecting, cold calling, consulting, educating, pitching, closing, and relationship management.
  • Consult with clients to achieve domestic and export online marketing and business goals, utilising the full suite of Google’s marketing solutions, such as YouTube, Google Search and Shopping, Google Display Network, and App Promotion.
  • Design marketing strategies leveraging expert product knowledge to drive success for our customers.
