Responsibilities:

PwC actively works as a management advisor to leading
telecommunications market players across the value chain,
including fixed, cable and convergent service providers;
mobile operators; applications providers; network equipment
suppliers; satellite players; tower operators; telecom
regulators and licensors; and industry bodies.
Our telecom industry practice in India focuses on bringing
together our Indian and global network resources around our
clients’ needs, creating teams to help respond to challenges
around almost every dimension of their business. Our clients
are majorly spread across India, Africa, Middle-East and
South East Asia.
A brief description of the work and roles and responsibilities
are as below:
 Leverage essential knowledge of the leading practices
in the industry to develop project scope and approach
to solve client problems
 Work collaboratively with the team in developing
project deliverables meeting and exceeding PwCs
client service and quality standards
 Develop internal knowledge collateral to help drive
the thought leadership within and outside the firm.
 Identify client business issues, determine client needs
by supplementing the standard assessment
techniques and tools and leading practices &
frameworks like eTOM, ITIL, etc. with innovative
approaches
 Identify cost optimization, revenue enhancement
opportunities in one or more areas covering customer
service delivery, network infrastructure, products and
services and operations, etc.
 Use tools & techniques for business analytics, revenue
assurance & fraud management, cost optimization,
project and program management for large to
medium scale business transformations, etc.
 Analyse market and client data to derive actionable
insights that can be applied in sales pursuits and
client engagements
 Assist and occasionally lead proposals other related
sales activity with customers and prospects
 Drive business development opportunities by
proactively translating thought leadership and
delivery execution to follow on project opportunities
and analysis into consulting

 Successful client delivery, including identifying and
addressing emerging issues
 Deliver all client commitments within time/budget
constraints
Willing to travel and work on site 50-70% of the time, working
in project teams at client locations
