We are looking for a skilled Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for test automation implementation and maintenance end-to-end testing, as well as contribute to test automation strategy for the project.
We expect that the best suitable candidate is ready to face challenges, take part in solution making and handle tasks independently while working as a part of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Taking care of the test automation framework and tooling for your team
- Driving manual testing debt reduction process in the team
- Overseeing the execution of test batches for the components in scope
- Supporting UAT/Regression phase execution for release validation
- Identifying, documenting and tracking issues
- Working on the continuous integration of the test scripts and driving your Squad towards continuous testing
- Working closely with Software/Test Engineers and Product Managers across the project to understand the context and drive automation and testing to meet objectives
- Promoting testing best practices (e.g. shift-left approach) within the organization and provide guidance and assistance to enable developers to test
- Cooperating with fellow Automation Test Engineers to improve the tooling and frameworks.
Requirements:
- Experience (4 to 5+ years) as a Test/QA Automation Engineer or SDET role
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Cypress tool
- Experience with SaaS in a B2B heavily regulated environment (telco, banking, pharma) using Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience with building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines with the tools like GitLab, Jenkins
- Experience in programming with scripting languages like Python (preferably), Ansible or Bash
- Experience with Test Management Tools like Zephyr, Xray or similar
- Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- Be proactive! Being able to be autonomous, the only Automation Tester in the team.
