Backed by Nine Entertainment Co., their digital platform educates consumers and connects buyers to the right cars and driving experiences. The Delivery Manager role facilitates Drive’s product and platform development by planning, executing, and closing projects efficiently. This role manages project scope, timelines, resources, budget, and risks to ensure successful delivery aligned with business objectives. It is a hands-on position requiring the application of PM/BA skills to roadmap areas while overseeing other initiatives with support from technical analysts and a project manager. Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are crucial for delivering Drive’s roadmap.

Job Description

The Delivery Manager role facilitates Drive’s product and platform development by planning, executing, and closing projects in a timely and efficient manner. Working collaboratively with Product, Technology and other stakeholders, this role manages project scope, timelines, resources, budget, and risks to ensure successful project delivery aligned with business objectives.

This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to apply your PM/BA skills to an area of the roadmap while overseeing other parallel initiatives with the support of technical analysts and a project manager reporting to you. Your fantastic communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving ability and excellent attention to detail will be key to the delivery of Drive’s roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sound advice and guidance on issues related to project management.

  • Be accountable / responsible for all core project management activities.

  • Take ownership of project reporting, provide input on artefacts such as WIP documents, board reports and internal presentations.

  • Inspire, motivate and provide direction.

  • Shephard the delivery of initiatives from business case to business outcome.

  • Share information, resolve issues and help the group plan/schedule work.

  • Provide guidance on capacity and timelines, ensure goals set are realistic.

  • Escalate key risks, issues and assist in their mitigation.

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships and open channels of communication to ensure stakeholders are well informed.

  • Monitor delivery of services and provide feedback to vendors/contractors.

  • Engage with external counterparts to ensure success delivery of project/initiative.

  • Seek/maintain specialist knowledge/advice and collaborate on, keep up to date with industry best practice.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field i.e. Project Management or Business

  • Proven experience in Project Management with extensive industry experience, able to oversee multiple projects/squads.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.

  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders

  • Proven ability to meet project deadlines, managing competing priorities in a calm, efficient and effective way

  • A high level of computer literacy with a strong working knowledge of Project management systems data and reporting

  • Proven leadership and the ability to influence

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with senior management and internal/external stakeholders.

  • A proactive, "can-do" attitude with the ability to multi-task and produce accurate work across multiple and competing deadlines

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently, and collaboratively, in a team environment.
