Savvy Games Studios (SGS) is looking for a HR Business Partner to provide HR expertise and a variety of day to day HR support activities to production teams within SGS.  The role with report directly to SGS’s VP of Operations,  the primary manager on day-to-day operations, and indirectly to Savvy Games Group’s (the ParentCo) Director of HR Business Partners,  the secondary manager who provides additional oversight and guidance to a team of HR Business Partners in the group.

 

SGS’s HR Business Partner will provide advice and counsel in all areas of HR including:  on-going employee relations, new manager coaching, employee development and interpretation of relevant HR policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Main HR Point of Contact: In collaboration with HR Services, act as a main contact for Employees/Managers/Directors/VP and ensure HR polices and working procedures be complied in daily operations. Liaise with business heads to ensure timely delivery for all employees of all HR services in alignment with objectives.

 

  • Implement Group policies Ensure full collaboration between HRBPs and all Human Capital functions to implement policies, programs, and solutions

 

  • Onboarding Management: Ensure everything is ready for the incoming employee’s onboarding experience (including email to employee pre-onboarding, preparing necessary documents, contract, welcome card, checklist, PC, softwares, goodies, meeting booked, etc). Ensure a clear communication & follow up with employees and report immediately if any issues with on boarding.

 

  • Prepare Weekly Report: Provide a weekly report to his or her SGS Manager including a clear analysis on a variety of relevant HR topics. 

 

  • Assist with Employee Relations:  Work with management in the Identification of high performers/contributors, low performers/contributors and do follow up in these 2 populations and ensure follow up of training/career development plan is in place. 

 

  • Assist with Training & Development:  Coordinate with management team to identify and review employees training and development needs and work with training department to implement a training plan. 

 

  • Support Performance Management Process: Facilitate performance reviews in line with planning and group policies. Coordinate and follow up on performance meetings and results. 

 

  • Support in all performance management cycle starting by setting and cascading of employee performance KPIs and Targets for all levels with their related talent implications with business leaders to ensure clear employee guidelines per company performance management policy, and ending by ensure follow up of training/career development plan is in place.  In charge of the SGS timeline & process for the Annual evaluation.

 

  • Support KPI Process:  support managers to defined clear strategically aligned objectives and KPIs for each team member,

 

  • Enforce Contract Probation periods:  ensure probation periods are clearly communicated to employees, documented and followed. Ensure a clear follow up on contract renew.

 

 

  • Support Morale & Engagement: Work closely with management and employees to ensure all employee relations issues are mediated and resolved; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary as per HR policies.  Provide expert advice, feedback, and coaching to employees whenever appropriate to ensure their ongoing performance and retention

 

  • Update HRIS: Ensure HRIS is always up to date with current information and documents, be the HRIS SGS Champion + contact person, , ensure HRIS systems provide clear report

 

  • Prepare various Reports: Prepare Weekly and or monthly Reports: Provide SGS management by all HR reports needed such as attendance, turnover, performance and others as required including a clear analysis on a variety of relevant HR important topics

 

  • Org Structure:  Assist  OD assessment, creation, and development of Org Design at the Function/Sector level, considering business understanding

 

  • Other tasks:  Perform other various tasks as assigned by the role’s direct manager and/or as required by SGG’s Director of HR BPs.

 

 

Qualifications and Key Skills:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Business / HR / or equivalent. 
  • Minimum of 3 years business experience in the following areas: leadership development of junior and senior business teams, organizational development, consulting, change management and talent management.
  • Ideal experience in a High Tech company with R& D but not Manufacturing 
  • An experienced business and human resources professional who has had experience within a heavily matrix organization 
  • Strong management skills with fFamiliarity working within very competitive industry, able to handle a young and highly qualified professional team 
  • Ability to facilitate and relate to people across cultures and levels and have demonstrated leadership skills 
  • Must have:
    • A working knowledge of general HR practices, along with the ability to influence HR strategy and policy using previous knowledge and experience from other business and work environments.
  • Mastery of HR information systems. 
  • Generally familiar with SGS, our products and competencies, and our sector of activity.
  • Possesses excellent communication abilities (dialogue, oral and written presentation, information research, data analytics & recommendations, etc.) 
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and relational abilities (ability to listen, skills in diplomacy, temporizing, empathy, mediation, etc.). 
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Arabic
