The Role and Its Impact

This Senior Finance Officer position plays a key role in the financial operations of Betsson Group, reporting directly to our Financial Reporting Manager, who is a driving force behind our financial strategy and operations.

A Flavour of What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Finance Officer at Betsson Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial record-keeping and reporting systems, and assisting with ad-hoc reporting.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintain financial records including processing of invoices and payments, recording accruals and prepayments, and reconciling balances, whilst keeping in mind actual costs vs budget (through purchase order system or otherwise)  
• Assist in the annual budget process for operational expenditure, and maintain these through updates where relevant to ensure realistic forecasts are in place  
• Update journals and uploading/posting in Microsoft Business Central  
• Assisting in day-to-day tasks relating to vendor payouts, and queries in this regard   
• Assist in analysis as required from time to time  
• Liaise with auditors as part of the audit process, as well as assist in the preparation of financial statements  
• Assist in other Finance related tasks (if applicable)  

You’re Good At

• Qualified accountant (ACCA or Master’s in Finance).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Fluent in English.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (an asset).
• Experienced in finance processes and systems enhancements (an asset).
• Understanding accounting terminology.
• Managing priorities in a dynamic environment while ensuring accuracy of deliverables.
• Working independently, solving challenges, and maintaining a strong focus on business priorities.
• Analytical thinking and teamwork.
