This role requires a Senior Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years of TypeScript experience to maintain existing services (bug fixes, security updates, improvements in Java, Scala, and TypeScript), build new APIs and web applications (Java + TypeScript), migrate legacy services to new technologies (Java + TypeScript), create and manage online ads for private users, manage appointment systems between sellers and buyers, and run user profile services. The company is a large European online car market with over 30 million monthly users across 18 countries.
Must have:
- 5+ years TypeScript web app dev
- Proficient in JavaScript
- Solid HTML & CSS knowledge
- Java/Spring Boot OR Node.js API/web app exp
- Fluent English

We are looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer (Typescript).
About the client:
Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of existing services (e.g., bug fixes, security updates, improvements in Java, Scala, and TypeScript)
- Building new APIs and web applications (Java + TypeScript)
- Migrating legacy services to new technologies (Java + TypeScript)
- Creating and managing online ads for private users (Web)
- Managing appointment systems between sellers and buyers (Web)
- Running user profile services to store and manage user data
Requirements:
- Must-Have:
- 5+ years of experience with TypeScript for web application development
- Proficiency with JavaScript for web application development
- Solid HTML and CSS knowledge
- Proficiency with Java/Spring Boot OR Node.js for building APIs and web applications
- Fluent English (at least Upper-Intermediate level)
- Should Have:
- Experience with hosting in Cloud (preferred AWS)
- Docker/containers
- AWS RDS/SQL DB
- AWS Lambda
- AWS CloudFront
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with observability tools like Datadog
