Job Description

DXC Luxoft Financial Services seeks a Senior Java Developer with React and DevOps experience (ideally in banking/capital markets) to design and build solutions with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams, taking ownership of software component development in Java, estimating and reporting on task progress, and applying architectural principles. The ideal candidate is diligent, tenacious, delivery-focused, and skilled in modern software development practices (Scrum, Java tools, frameworks). Experience with AWS is beneficial. The role requires proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition 11, JPA, microservices, Spring, Oracle RDBMS/PL/SQL, and Atlassian tools.

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with React and some Dev Ops background - preferably gained in some banking/ capital markets environment

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Java developer who can design and build with minimum supervision solutions for our team. The person needs to be knowledgeable on modern software development practices including Scrums, be up to date with the latest Java tools and frameworks and be able to work with the existing team to deliver solutions. The ideal candidate will be diligent, tenacious and delivery focused with a track record of building high quality solutions that are resilient and maintainable. Use of cloud technology is increasing, so experience working with AWS would be beneficial.

Collaborate with fellow developers, financial market infrastructure experts, testers, architects and operations teams to deliver working solutions.

Take ownership of the analysis, design, build and delivery of software components written in Java.

Take responsibility for identification, estimation and reporting on of progress of tasks.

Assimilate, challenge, help refine and then apply architectural principles around scalability, security and fault tolerance.
