Responsibilities include crafting content with executive leadership and software engineers, creating professional and impactful knowledge-sharing materials using tools like SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Miro, managing information channels, developing information architecture, and driving knowledge-sharing initiatives. The consultant will work with diverse stakeholders and embed knowledge management into the company's information architecture.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US

We are looking for a Senior Knowledge- & Content Management Consultant to join our Learning- & Knowledge Management team in SimCorp’s Product Development division.

Product Development is where we create and deliver the products that help our clients succeed. Software- Engineers and Architects, Product- Owners and Managers are just a few of the roles that make up this part of the SimCorp organization.

Common for all of them is that they work in an environment where changes happen rapidly, and a vast quantity of information and domain knowledge is created. Crafting, sharing, and managing this content is key for our success.

As a Senior Knowledge- & Content Management Consultant, your job is deceptively easy to describe: Ensure we get the right information, to the right people, at the right time.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Crafting the Content: You will help everyone from our executive leadership team to the Software Engineer with something to share, craft their content - and sharpen it so that it connects with the organization. This work will range from one-off engagements to the long-term management of our information architecture. Directly Involved in Creating Content: This is an operational role where you will not only be involved in shaping the substance. Equally important, you will create the form it takes. That means actively using tools like SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Miro, video editing and a host of other tools to create professional and impactful knowledge sharing. Managing Channels: You will help ensure we have the right portfolio of information channels for the Product Development Organization. Once we have our content, we need to get it out: Is it a mail, SharePoint, video, a Town Hall segment, or something completely different. Determining this is part of your job. Information Architecture: You will work with our information architecture to ensure that all our major information hubs are sharing information effectively with the rest of the organization. We use MS SharePoint as the platform for this, so experience in this field will be a big benefit. Knowledge- Sharing and Management: You will help drive knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization. This will involve everything from establishing Communities of Practice, producing and facilitating conferences and Town Hall events, and embedding knowledge management into our information architecture. Stakeholders Galore: In all of the above, you will work with a host of diverse stakeholders. Ensuring that necessary requirements and standards are met.

WHAT WE VALUE

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field. Two to four years of experience working in a similar position. Fluent in English – both spoken and written. Knowledge of both the financial sector and software development will be a big benefit in the role. Effective communication skills – and a commitment to keep growing in this space. Proficient user of tools like SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Miro, video editing, and other communication tools. You don’t need to be proficient in all of them – but you should be ready and eager to learn. Curiosity! Even if you can check all of the above. The thing we value the most is curiosity. There will doubtless be new things that you will need to learn. Mastering new skills and working well in a changing environment is required for the job.
