Senior Software Engineer

We’re looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer (Front End) for a world-renowned healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional medical care, research, and education. You’ll join the Cardiovascular Surgery team to to develop the Application that will guide surgery patients through their journey—covering scheduling, pre-surgery preparation, the procedure itself, post-surgery recovery, and follow-ups after discharge.. This is a 12 month contract  opportunity. The role is located in Rochester, MN and is  fully remote.

Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a patient-centric application using React, C#, and .NET.

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and healthcare professionals to create a seamless user experience.

• Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and deployment.

• Work within an Agile development framework to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to maintain system performance and security.

Senior Software Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or related field) with 5+ years of experience, OR
  Associate’s Degree with 7+ years of experience.

• Strong front-end development experience with React.js.

• Backend development expertise with C# and .NET.

• Experience in professional software engineering best practices, including:

  • Source control management (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).

  • Code reviews and testing frameworks.

  • CI/CD pipelines and deployment.

• Knowledge of modern application development frameworks and cloud-based solutions.

• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Healthcare industry experience (preferred).
