Must have:
  • Infrastructure: On-Prem, IAAS (GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • SSO, OpenID Connect(OIDC), MFA, Firewalls (VPN/VPC)
  • Programming / Integrations: Java,.NET/C#,Pyton, Angular, SQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL, REST APIs, JavaScript (Angular/React), streaming/queuing, object stores
  • Foundation knowledge of ML/AI techniques and cognitive services.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, Gitlab, Visio, Lucidchart etc.
Good to have:
  • Kofax Capture KTM/KTA, Abbyy, Captiva, OpenText
  • MVC, API, Microservices, Blazon, NodeJS, Unit Testing, and QA Tools
  • Reporting Platforms: Tableau, Grafana, PowerBI etc.
  • CI/CD with Gitlab/Github Repository management

The Job

A Technical Architect is a technical leader, a strategic thinker, and a strong communicator who plays a vital role in successfully delivering technology solutions that meet business needs and drive organizational goals. 

Works collaboratively with key stakeholders like Presales, IT, Engineering, Delivery, and Operations, ensuring proposed solutions exceed the customer's expectations and drive operational efficiency. Solid technical knowledge of emerging technologies and Iron Mountain's core platforms will be critical to success in this role.

The Responsibilities

  • Solution Design and Architecture: Responsible for designing scalable, Repeatable, reliable, and secure solutions that align with business requirements and the overall architectural vision.  Creating detailed system architectures, including hardware, software, and network components, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.  Data Flow Diagrams, Build Catalog Models, and detailed technical specifications, including functional and non-functional requirements, are to be created when required.  Where required, participate in Client meetings to help position and solve complex technical requirements
  • While the Functional Architect is primarily responsible for gathering customer requirements and translating them into the SoW, the Technical Architect contributes critical, in-depth technical knowledge to ensure proposed solutions meet client expectations and business needs.  A close partnership with both Global Enterprise and Functional  Architects is needed for complex, non-standard, and strategic type deals for design and delivery
  • Technical Leadership: Working closely with the technical delivery teams, providing guidance, setting standards, and ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards throughout the project delivery. Close collaboration with Operations and the delivery innovation team to understand the pain points and provide operationally efficient solution designs with automations. Responsible for conducting upskill training programs regularly for the technical stakeholders
  • Technical Governance: By working closely with the Global Enterprise Architects, ensure that projects adhere to architectural principles, standards, and best practices, govern technical decisions, and address any deviations. Designing systems that comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and security requirements
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and the adoption of new technologies. Working closely with the product & engineering team to channel the use cases, feature requests that meet the operational & customer needs. Identify process improvement opportunities to improve the TAT, which in turn improves customer satisfaction
  • Developing Documentation: Producing comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, implementation guides, and best practices. Ensuring the knowledge base libraries are created and constantly updated

The Person

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in the full lifecycle of application development, coupled with expertise in business processes, architectural design, system integration, and information management strategies
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive complex projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Good communication, listening, and presentation skills, ability to present to technical & Non-Technical audiences
  • Experience with SDLC (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, RUP) enabled project deliveries
  • Experience with Digitization(Kofax, Abbyy etc.,), IDP, RPA, automation tools (UIPath, Automate)
  • Experience with information management (DMS, ECM, BPM, IDP).
  • Experience with cloud software packaging/deployment (Docker/K8s) and Identity Providers (SAML, OAuth2)
  • Practical experience with content management platforms (e.g., Alfresco, SharePoint, OnBase, NewGen)
  • Experience with streaming/logging/queueing services (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with ML/LLM integration
  • Experience in outsourcing, SaaS, or hosted solutions (plus)
  • Should exhibit a strong understanding of DevOps principles and foster a collaborative culture between development, operations, and security teams
  • Certifications, on Togaf, GCP/AWS/Azure Foundations, Networking CCNA/Comptia (Plus)
  • Exposure to security standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI, SOC2, and ISO (Plus)
  • English required. Additional languages are a plus
