Job Description

Senior Tools Software Engineer needed with 5+ years of Unity development experience and 2+ years of editor development. Responsibilities include designing and developing a library of UI primitives for editor creation, building editors and tools for various teams (programmers, artists, designers, localizers), integrating solutions across teams, and contributing to system documentation. Strong skills in Unity UI Toolkit, complex system architecture, UI/UX, and code reviews are essential. Experience with large-scale game projects and game development is a plus.

Must have:

5+ years Unity development
2+ years editor development
UI Toolkit expertise
Complex system architecture design
UI/UX understanding
Code review skills

Good to have:

Complex Unity editor development
Large-scale game project experience
Gaming experience

You are our person if you have:

5 or more years of experience developing on Unity
2 or more years of experience developing editors
skills in designing systems with complex architecture
knowledge of Unity systems for building interfaces (UI Toolkit)
general understanding of UI/UX
skills in conducting reviews of other developers' solutions

Will come in handy:

experience in developing complex editors on Unity
understanding of how large-scale game projects are developed
gaming experience

Some points on tasks:

designing and developing a library of UI primitives to simplify the editor creation
designing and developing editors and tools for programmers, technical artists, game designers, UI/UX designers, and localizers
assisting in integrating your own solutions into other teams and providing them with LTS
compiling system documentation together with the technical writers team
