In this role as a Senior UI Software Development Engineer based out of our Chandigarh office, you will drive innovation to support our core EquiLend Spire trading platform, which serves global clients across financial markets.
As a UI Software Development Engineer, you will be an essential part of a highly skilled team developing and enhancing user interfaces that power the user experience for our trading platform.

Role Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain user interfaces using front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, TypeScript and React.
- Focus 95% of your time on front-end development for our core trading platform, utilizing React as a key framework.
- Design, implement, and manage web-based applications while ensuring scalability and performance.
- Contribute to Agile projects through coding, testing, peer reviews, debugging, documentation, and deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
- Assist in resolving production issues, addressing defects, and enhancing user experiences.
- Create and maintain functional requirements and technical documentation.
- Validate test plans and support software releases.
- 2+ years of experience in front-end development with expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, TypeScript and React.
- Demonstrable experience with React (and familiarity with Angular is a plus).
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to work effectively in Agile teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
- Willingness to learn the intricacies of the business and how it translates into technical solutions.
- Experience with full-stack development, including knowledge of databases and Java, is desirable.
