Senior UI/UX Designer

We’re looking to hire a Senior UI / UX Designer for a Fortune 500 global gaming client. Teams are very collaborative and have a passion for creating cutting edge customer experiences.  

Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Design team to partner with the Product Manager and Tech Lead to translate research insights into actionable user-centered solutions.This is a 12 – month contract + possible extension.

The team is located in Los Angeles California, and the role is on-site 3 days/week (2 days/week remote). Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.

Senior UI / UX Designer  Responsibilities: 

• Develop and deploy rapid prototypes to validate high-risk solution concepts with real users, enabling early iteration and learning.
• Produce and maintain essential design deliverables, including research findings, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to break down complex projects into manageable increments for agile development and iterative value delivery.

Senior UI / UX Designer  Requirements: 

• 6+ years experience in User Experience (UX) or Interaction Design, focusing on digital experiences, products, tools, or platforms.
• B.A. in Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Design, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or a related field
• Experience creating UI in game engines like Unity/Unreal/Godot
• Proven ability to create rapid, functional prototypes of intricate user workflows using Figma or comparable industry-standard tools.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and conducting user research, including prototype testing and iterative design based on user feedback.
• Must reside in the Los Angeles (LA) area to facilitate on-campus collaboration.
