About the job

Role Overview: As the Social Media Manager, you will be at the forefront of promoting our podcast and any other projects on different social platforms. We need someone who is not only well-versed in these platforms but also has a knack for compelling writing, engaging storytelling, and strategic content planning. Your role will involve creating and executing content strategies, managing community engagement, and leveraging social media tools to expand our audience.


Roles & Responsibilities:

YouTube Management:

  • Optimize YouTube videos for SEO, including crafting engaging titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails.
  • Upload and schedule full episodes, highlight clips, and teasers to maintain a consistent posting cadence.
  • Monitor channel performance and adjust strategies based on analytics.

Instagram Strategy:

  • Develop and execute content strategies tailored for Instagram, including Reels, Stories, carousels, and IGTV.
  • Create engaging posts and captions that resonate with our audience and drive interaction.
  • Use Instagram features like polls, quizzes, and live sessions to build community engagement.

Podcast Promotion:

  • Collaborate with podcast guests and influencers to cross-promote content.
  • Utilize insights from YouTube and Instagram to refine promotional strategies.
  • Create content that highlights key moments, quotes, and takeaways from each episode.

Content Writing:

  • Write compelling, audience-driven captions, descriptions, and social media posts.
  • Develop show notes, summaries, and promotional text that accurately reflect the podcast’s tone and message.
  • Draft scripts for highlight clips or promotional videos.

Community Engagement:

  • Actively engage with followers through comments, DMs, and interactive content.
  • Foster a sense of community by responding to listener feedback and encouraging discussions.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track performance metrics on YouTube and Instagram, providing insights and recommendations based on data.
  • Report on growth trends, engagement rates, and campaign performance to optimize strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing YouTube channels and Instagram accounts, particularly for podcasts or video content.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, content optimization, and audience growth strategies.
  • Familiarity with podcasting, including current trends and promotional techniques.
  • Excellent writing skills with a knack for crafting engaging and on-brand content.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Creative, proactive, and passionate about social media and podcasting
