We're looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager - Frontend to join our UI team. Reporting to the Sr Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • You will manage a team of UI Developers who will develop and deliver flexible, reusable UI components for Zscaler web applications.
  • Evaluate detailed technical application designs and serve as a subject matter expert for the UI development team.
  • Collaborate with all the partners and to complete projects in time.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Over 10 years of Experience in UI Development and minimum 2years of experience in managing a team of UI Developers.
  • Experience working on user interfaces for developing web applications, including enterprise or B2B applications.
  • Solid JavaScript coding skills and good hands-on developing single-page applications.
  • Experience with React.js, Redux or Flux, and HTML5, CSS3, D3.js, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with client-side MV* frameworks (e.g., Backbone, Knockout, Ember & Angular)

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with D3 charts and Node.js, along with familiarity in building and packaging JavaScript applications using tools such as Gulp or Grunt.
  • Unit testing with Mocha, Chai, Jest or Expect assertion library
  • Experience with version control, defect tracking, and build systems, along with knowledge of UI/UX concepts and best practices.
